Come and relax on tropical Sasori Island!
Pandemony! is a retro style open world RPG.
Travel alone or gather a party of heroes to explore the Rolling Hills, Relax in the Dune Desert and duel with the undead in the Deadlands. Sasori is home to the famous Fighter's Guild and the majestic Mage's Guild. If you look hard enough, you might even find the mysterious Thief Legion!
Worship the Goddess at Mera's Temple, or pray to a powerful monstrosity at the Gargoyle Temple.
Whatever you do, do it in style as one of six playable classes:
- Fighter
- Cleric
- Rogue
- Wizard
- Monk
- Paladin
There may even be a secret seventh class, but finding that is all up to you.

Pandemony! is a role-playing game which centres on doing quests for factions, exploring the world and growing stronger with a custom party.

Just started this one after having played the prior game.
So far at the start, I noticed a weird glitch. When you change directions, and press jump, you jump 2 squares. (This was as the fighter class) and with sprint, its 3 squares.
I'll update more as i get going on it.
EDIT#1... how DARE you not have the starting gear equipped by default! lol... the 1st fight took so long! went to the shop, and saw the gear was in my inventory, and not equipped lol.
EDIT#2: got stuck in the 2nd inn, by 2 space jumping over chairs, and then couldnt jump back. (the prior game had me waiting on NPCs to move in 1 block wide spaces, but now in this game have to be careful in 1 block spaces from a double space jump)
EDIT#3: omg, jump is so broken. skipping sections of dungeons by jumping through walls, or jumping into the void to walk outside the dungeon!!! haha
EDIT#4: fighters guild says to check cave to SE, but it was a Mera Shrine.
EDIT#5: talked to a dresser and got the credit screen in Ki city...
EDIT#6: I noticed trash mobs in this game, and the prior game have just WAAAAAY too much HP. They are harder to fight than the games actual bosses. luckily i can run away from encounters in this game, unlike the prior game.
EIDIT#7: in the last dungeon i got a spare key and grabbed the boss key. then on the next floor it said i didnt have a key to open the door. (i had a spare, dunno why it didnt work)
EDIT#8: a town where theres no doors.
EDIT#9: town where rocks dotn act as barriers.
EDIT#10: Wizards have a problem with MP, besides being very low MP, items to raise mp by 10 only raise it by 3. this alone makes wizards probably the worst class. (Pick cleric for the huge amounts of MP for the spells that require more MP than u have max)
seems ive run into a game ending bug. got leon and able at the inn, went back into the grave dungeon. and when i step on 2 spaces, the game pauses, and nothing happens. i assume some sort of cutscene is meant to play, but doesnt.
i gave up, and tried to leave, and it says i need to destroy a generator? idk what its talking about, but it wont let me leave. i saved over my file, so my run is now officially over.
looking into the updates, it says fighter gets an additional attack? was that removed like the dual wielding? because fighter has nothing worth while.
this game and monochrome kingdom are very amateurish, broken and i don’t have the original files anymore and honestly would rather pretend they didn’t exist, hence the fact that they’re hidden from my itch.io page, so i can’t really help with any issues you’re having, sorry

joyous micro-rpg experience, the kind that leaves you excited to run out and make one of your own. what makes this one stand out for me is jumping (i was a wizard, so i got to enjoy the extra huge jump), which made getting around really fun and memorable and fit with the breezy pace and challenge level of the game. constantly it made me feel like i was getting away with something - soaring to the tops of buildings, across barriers, out of bounds. combined with the delicious fruits of my gargoyle temple arc i had an immaculate evil wizard experience

Just playing this now - but I really enjoyed it. Fun open world and some good options for party building, just a good overall time.
Got to the postgame and found a show-stopping bug a ways into it (or maybe found the end of the game's development?):
Exploring the crypt with the two brothers (from the intro screen) causes a freeze in two places - I expect these are the spots where the dialogue should happen explaining the mission. Also, trying to leave the cave gives 'you should destroy the generator before leaving'. Exploring without them states that you need them.
To be clear - it's a great game and this hardly blemishes it. I'd highly recommend it to anybody looking for some high-quality adventure.

The only problem is, I lost the files for this game and Monochrome Kingdom, so these versions are the best I can do for now. Perhaps a remake or something is in order?

Hey! Thanks for the concern. Unfortunately, I can't export this game to mobile due to it being made in RPG Maker VX Ace. However, there is an app on the Google Play Store called "Neko RPGXP Player", which despite the name, I believe can play games from several different versions of RPG Maker. If you're absolutely starving for a Pandemony! experience on the go, that'd be your best bet.

It's kind of vague and traditional, but that's kind of what's nice about it.
It says "BETA" on the file, but is there any idea how long the game is as of now?
Thanks for the kind words! The beta version has been out for a few days, and I'm working in some general bug fixes as well as a new worldspace for the post-game, and a short story to go along with it.
The beta has the entire main quest and all of the guild quests, though some of them need tweaking for the final version. I estimate the final game will be revealed in 2-3 months at most!
